BONUS #3

Extra Module – How Your Spending Will (and Should) Change Over Time

This is a special bonus called How Your Spending Will (and Should) Change Over Time.  Every one of your life stages comes with its own financial needs and challenges and goals.  This bonus module walks you through how your spending and thought process is going to change over time.  This will allow you to really make the program work for you depending on whatever your life stage.

During your life you will go through various phases.

You will start as the kid that just graduated, then maybe you’re a newlywed, then a new parent, then maybe a  parent with teenagers and college kids, then you’ll approach retirement in your prime earning years and finally you’ll be in retirement.

Your spending needs will change through each of these life cycles.  The mortgage you need starting out will be gone (hopefully) when you get close to retirement.  A newlywed isn’t thinking about funding college for her kids.

In this bonus module I’ll show you how your spending needs to shift, including the correct ratios, so you can incorporate them into your plan.

Highlights:

  • Why saving guidelines (like saving 15% each year) don’t work.
  • How your spending patterns will change depending on your stage of life.
  • Realistic spending guidelines based on your life stages.

If you are a woman frustrated by her money and tired of worrying all the time, you probably already know you need a create yourself a financial plan.

So I’ll spare you the sermon.

After all, you probably already know that creating a plan is THE KEY to getting your debt under control and saving enough money so that you won’t have to worry about putting your kids through college or retiring someday.

And in order to put a plan together, you know you need to REALLY understand how budgeting, debt management, saving, investment and retirement planning work.

You’ve probably also heard that 95% of women are going to have to take care of managing their money on their own at some point in their life (most after they turn 65 because we will outlive or divorce our  partners (sorry guys….women live 5 years longer than men do))  so this has to be on your ‘must-do’ list.

Even if you’ve already been working hard to get your money under control, having a financial plan can:

Stop the paycheck to paycheck mentality

You don’t want to worry about coming up with the cash when the brakes in your car go this week.  Living paycheck to paycheck is both a mindset and process that you can learn to change. You can learn to manage your money in as little as 1 hour a month.

Get out of debt once and for all (and start using debt as a tool for good)

Never ending debt can be crippling both emotionally and financially. Imagine feeling 100% confident you could afford your debt and feel good about using it? Your plan must include both a way to get out of debt, and strategies for using it when it makes sense to get what you want (and need).

Significantly increase your wealth

Saving money is hard.  Really hard. Figuring out how to fit savings into your plan is key.  You can start small.  Once you are saving money, you will have money to invest.  Saving and investing on a regular basis is the key way (without get rich schemes), to getting rich.

Create a retirement you WANT to dream about

Retirement seems so far away, until it isn’t.  Then its going to be 20-30 years of living off money you saved.  Understanding what money is going to look like in retirement, and knowing what you need to do between now and then to have enough, will let you not only start dreaming about it, but ensure you actually get to live it.

CREATE A FINANCIAL PLAN? AWESOME.

But where the heck do I start?

You’ve probably made a commitment to yourself to get started.

Maybe you’ve started a journal to write down everything you spend.

Or you’ve tried to go to an all cash system with envelops and set weekly budgets for all your spending categories.

Perhaps you’ve done debt consolidation, or borrowed from your 401(k) to pay off your debt.

But even with all the things you’ve tried, you still feel like your money is spiraling out of control and you spend a lot of time worried, afraid you aren’t okay and embarrassed because you haven’t figured it all out.

Here’s why most people continue to plug along, overwhelmed, frustrated and angry, while their money continues to not work.

Without a super clear, step-by-step plan, most people are completely lost.

The truth is, most of us are never taught how to manage money.  There are MANY components and not only aren’t you sure which pieces you should be using, buy you aren’t sure what they are suppose to do.

You find yourself focusing on your budget or paying off debt, so you never really start saving; you avoid investing; and retirement planning is something for another day.

Here’s why this will bring you to your knees if you don’t deal with it.

If you are feeling stressed about money now, imagine how you’re going to feel when you get to retirement and you stop working so you have no more income.

What happens then?  Do you have a plan on where your money is going to come from and how you’ll spend what you have?

Is it important both emotionally and financially to have a plan in place TODAY so you feel confident you are making the right decisions for your life today? Absolutely!

But the bigger, scarier thought is ‘Are you setting yourself up to survive in retirement?

You need to save money for retirement. A lot of money.  Every day you aren’t saving, because you don’t have a plan, is a day you aren’t saving (and earning) the money you will need when you get to retirement.

Every dollar you pay in interest on the debt you owe today is a dollar you aren’t saving for your retirement.  You need a plan to get rid of the debt so you can save those dollars.

Do you know how much you need to save?

Do you know how to invest what you have saved to make it grow?

Do you know how to fit in things like your kids’ college along the way?

Luckily for you, you still have time to create a plan.

You can create a plan that is going to make you feel confident about your money TODAY that will also  let you set goals for your future and put you on a path to have a retirement you are going to WANT to dream about.

THE 5 REASONS YOU DON’T HAVE A PLAN THAT WORKS

(and what you have to do to MAKE it work)

REASON #1

You’re working hard on your budget or debt…. but that’s not enough

Managing your budget (where your money comes from and how you spend it) is REALLY important.

So is managing your debt. Who doesn’t want to be debt free?

But you probably still feel like it’s not enough. Maybe you wake up at night worried about whether there was enough money in the bank to cover the checks you wrote today.  Or your debt feels like it’s never going to end.

You have to have a plan that is broader than just your budget and your debt.  One that thinks beyond today.   Your budget and your debt are a great place to start, but you need to dig deeper.

REASON #2

You’re afraid its too complicated to understand.

Building a successful financial plan isn’t particularly hard or complicated.  But there are MANY moving parts and places you can get lost along the way.

How do you track your spending? How fast can you pay off your debt without blowing up all your other plans?  What should you invest my money in?  How much should you be saving for retirement?

These are just some of the MANY questions you’ll have to answer along the way.

The truth is, you have to go through all the pieces, learn how they work and learn how they work together.   You have to be patient and give yourself permission to recognize it’s a process.

REASON #3

You’re afraid there will be math that is too hard to do

It’s money, so there is math. That’s the truth.

BUT, 99% of it is adding and subtracting.  It’s math you can do on the calculator on your phone.

And the beauty of living in today’s world, is that there are some amazing apps to help you get through the math.   You don’t have to do it alone.

REASON #4

You will never make enough money to have ‘enough’ so why bother?

It doesn’t matter if you make a dollar or a million dollars.  You have to manage it.

No matter how much you make, you need to manage where it goes, and you’ll be doing that the rest of your life.  Wouldn’t you like to make it work as hard for you as possible?

Having a plan will help you make the most of what you have.

When you start organizing it the right way, you may find that what you do make, can do a lot more than what you think it can.

REASON #5

Managing your money will take a lot of time (which you don’t have)

Learning to build a financial plan will take time, just like anything new you learn to do.

Compare it to learning a new recipe.  The first time is slow as you follow the steps one at a time. Over time, it gets much faster, you stop needing the recipe at all, and you get comfortable swapping ingredients on the fly.

Your financial plan works the same way.   Once its set up and you’ve practices a few times, you’ll be able to manage it in as little as an hour a month.

You need someone to teach you the right ‘recipe’ for the money in your life.  What are the right ingredients? How much of each do you need? How do you put them together the right way?

Shhhhhh…………I’m going to let you in on a

LITTLE SECRET

There are 5 parts to money management.  budgeting. debt management, saving, investing and retirement planning.  The people that are successful managing their money, manage all 5 pieces ALL THE TIME.

Now, they don’t spend the same amount of energy on all of them all the time, but they need them to all be on the radar.

You need to budget where your money comes from and where it goes.  You need a plan to get rid of debt that works inside your budget.  You need a savings plan so you know you will reach your goals and it needs to fit inside your budget. You need to invest your money so it grows.  And you need a retirement plan so you know what to expect when you get to retirement and what you have to do between now and then to make it happen.

The key ingredient to make all of this work is a financial plan.

And with your permission, that’s what I’d LOVE to show you how to create.

I’ve taken everything I’ve learned from 20 years of managing my money, getting out of debt, putting my son through college debt free and putting myself on a path to retire early, and channeled it into a comprehensive, step-by-step program that not only teach you the theory of money management, but the actual EXECUTION of how you can create a plan to make your money work.

Yes, you’ll learn how each of the 5 pieces of money management work, but more importantly, you’ll learn how they work together and how to make them work in your life.  You’ll have a meticulous, step-by-step process that leaves nothing out and takes nothing for granted.

The end result: A financial plan that will balance all the pieces and allows you to be confident in all the financial decisions you need to make.

THE FAST MONEY MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

is the first program of its kind that…..

INCLUDES ALL THE PIECES YOUR NEED

You MUST have ALL five pieces in your plan.  This program teaches you what they are, how they work and how they work together.  You will learn how to make them balance each other to give you exactly what you need TODAY while building a strong financial position for all of your tomorrows.

HERE’S HOW IT ALL

BREAKS DOWN

MODULE 01

Getting Started

This class is going to be an amazing journey so it’s important to start on the right foot.  Where do we start?  With all those emotions that have your stomach tied in knots and keep you up at night.

This class is not just about building a financial plan. It’s about building confidence.

So we start by diffusing the emotions that may be stopping you from making the best financial decisions.  Once we’ve done that, it will be so much easier to focus on the content of each lesson.

Highlights:

  • Learn why money has such a huge emotional impact on our lives.
  • Create a snapshot of the emotions that pop up when you are making financial decisions so you can start to neutralize them.
  • Evaluate some of the financial decisions you make every day and how your emotions influence those decisions.
  • Introduce my favorite, fake family, Joe and Amanda Banks (and their daughter Emily).  Throughout the class we will use their lives, their money and their personal situations to learn how to apply the concepts you will learn in class.   See how emotions are impacting their financial health.

MODULE 02

Measure Your Wealth (Like Warren Buffett)

When you start learning the individual pieces of personal finance, it’s really helpful to have an overall vision of where you are and where you want to go.

“Wealth”, “being Rich”, these words may feel uncomfortable or like they don’t belong in your life, but in this lesson you’re going to learn why measuring your wealth is one of the most important concepts in personal finance and why it forms the baseline for your overall financial plan.

Net worth (another word for wealth or being rich) is the way you track your financial progress.  It allows you to set the goals you want, for specific amounts of money available on specific days (you know, for things like a new house, or retirement),  and see your progress over time.

This is a perfect introduction to how the 5 pieces of money management (budget, debt, savings, investment and retirement planning) work together because you will see it in action.

Highlights:

  • How do you define net worth (also known as wealth and riches), in plain English?
  • Watch the Banks quickly take their paycheck to paycheck lifestyle and create a vision of a reasonable path to a comfortable life and amazing retirement.
  • Use the tools in the worksheet to figure out how much net worth (and wealth/riches) you have.
  • Start creating a vision for yourself of the financial goals you want to achieve and what your life will look like. When would you like your debt gone? How much money should you save? When would you like to retire?

MODULE 03

Creating a Budget that Works

Once you’ve created a vision of where you want to go, it’s time to start digging in.

The place to start is with your budget.  Your budget is where you look at where your money comes from and where it goes.

In this module, you’ll look at what’s going on in your financial life today. How much of your money goes to day to day spending versus debt versus saving?   You can’t change anything (and make it better) until you know where you are right now, so this is an incredibly important step in the journey.

And the good news?  There’s some great FREE technology out there that’s going to make it super easy to do.

Highlights:

  • You will learn a new way to think about the money you spend. You have day to day spending, money that goes to paying off debt, and savings.   Let’s talk about how you should be balancing the three, no matter where you are in your life.
  • See how the Banks family lays out their budget….and see how they reassess how they have been spending their money based on the revelations they find.
  • Evaluate 6-12 months of your own spending to see where your money really comes from and where it goes. I guarantee you will be surprised!
  • Because math can be intimidating, there are 2 options for evaluating your budget including a super easy way, and an all-the-way-with-technology option. The goal is to get it done at a level each student is comfortable doing.
  • Start YOUR NEW financial plan by using my worksheets to take what you are doing today and start the process of laying out how you would like to do it in the future.

MODULE 04

Planning for a Retirement You’ll WANT to Dream About

After you’ve written out how you spend your money today, you’re in the perfect position to start planning for retirement.

Why?  Because your spending in retirement is going to be very similar to your spending today.  So, as you just looked at how you spend money today, it’s pretty easy to create a budget for when you get to retirement.

Once you know what your spending will look like in retirement, it’s super simple to figure out how much you’ll need to save to be able to continue to live the way you want in retirement.

Highlights:

  • Create a vision board of what your life in retirement will look like. When will you retire? where will you live? What will you do every day? These are just some of the questions you will go through.
  • Take your budget from Module 1 and that vision board, and turn it into a retirement budget.
  • Learn where your money is going to come from to pay for retirement. Will it be Social security or a pension or your investments?
  • Learn how to find out EXACTLY how much money each month you should expect from social security or your pension when you retire.
  • Calculate how much you will need in your investment accounts on the day you retire to make sure you live the life you want and don’t worry about running out of money.
  • Add your retirement budget and investment goals for retirement to your financial plan.

MODULE 05

How to Save and Invest Like a Professional

After the last module, you will know how much money you need to have in the bank in order to retire.  How do you save enough to get there?

Saving money alone, won’t be enough.  You need to know how to invest your money so it can grow.   In this module, you’ll learn how to create an investment strategy (that’s not scary) and the basics of investing so you can confidently invest your first dollar.

And what about your other savings goals?  Imagine having enough cash in the bank today so when you find out you need to replace the brakes in your car you aren’t worried.  Imagine having enough for a new house, or a new car, or college for your kids.

Highlights:

  • Create a complete list of savings goals including what you want them for (emergencies, college, new house, new car, retirement), when you will need them to be complete, and what you need to do between today and then to make them realistically happen.
  • Learn about a concept called compounding which is the magic way to make a ton of money, by doing nothing, and without any get rich schemes. Yes!  You can!
  • Layout your complete retirement savings plan so you can retire in style.
  • Learn how to use a financial advisor to compliment your financial plan if you feel like you need support.
  • Learn how to evaluate whether an investment is ‘good’ or maybe needs to be switched out for one that’s more effective.
  • Confidently invest your first dollar with my step-by-step instructions.
  • Put your savings goals and investment strategy into your financial plan as you continue to build your financial plan.

MODULE 06

Get Your Debt Under Control Once and For All

You’ve laid out your new budget and spending plan.  You have a retirement plan.  You have savings goals and an investment plan.  Now what do you do about your pesky debt?

You’ve already learned that you don’t want to live your life drowning in debt.  You need to figure out how to get rid of it so you can stop stressing about it and you can start using the money you are currently paying toward debt for better, more satisfying things.

Then, once it’s gone, if you ever need it again, imagine feeling empowered to use debt only when it works for you.  The only bad debt is debt you can’t afford!

Highlights:

  • Learn the 5 simple rules for managing debt that will change the way you think about it forever.
  • Create a debt payoff plan that’s reasonable and won’t destroy your life. Imagine if you could see the light at the end of the tunnel?
  • I’ll share 15 ways you can get your debt under control faster so you can move your energy from paying off debt to living your life and saving for your future goals.
  • Put your debt payoff plan into your financial plan.

MODULE 07

LAUNCH!!!!

You’ve officially gone through all 5 pieces.  You’ve got a rough budget, a debt pay off plan, savings goals, an investment strategy and a retirement plan.

Now you’re ready to pull it all together and start living your plan.

Going forward you will know the role of every dollar you spend. You will spend money with confidence.  You will make decisions with confidence.  And you will sleep peacefully at night.

And the best part?  Once you’ve gone through the process and have your plan, you will update it once a year (which is a blast, by the way, because you get to think about all the exciting goals you’ve set for yourself) and you will check in once a month in as little as an hour each month.

Highlights:

  • Learn how to massage your goals and budget until you create a balanced budget (and you’ll do it better than a politician!) with my step-by-step instructions
  • Turn your plan into a monthly (or weekly) action plan that’s easy to follow.
  • Finish your one-page summary plan that includes where you are today,  your debt payoff plan, all your savings and investing goals, and where you want to be in retirement.
  • Set yourself a date for your first monthly review.
  • LAUNCH your new plan and start living your life with a new financial story, new confidence and pride in your ability to manage your money.

STILL UNDECIDED?

The FAST Money Management Program is perfect for you if…

  • You’re just getting started managing your money and you want to nail it out of the gate by using only the most powerful, step-by-step, easy-to-follow program available.
  • You’ve been trying to get your money under control for months (or even years), but it just isn’t working and you’re tired and frustrated and just want someone to tell you what to do.
  • You’ve set some financial goals for yourself (a new house? A new car? Retirement?) but you aren’t sure how to get there.
  • You have no problem investing a couple of hours a week, as long as you know that every minute you spend will be worthwhile in getting you to the point that you have a financial plan that you can follow that will allow you to truly be at peace with your money as well as achieve all your goals.
  • In fact, you’re ALREADY investing time and energy doing things like writing down all your spending, cutting up your credit cards, working a side job, or taking classes. The problem is that all these things are pieces and they don’t include making all the pieces work together so you keep ending up frustrated, angry and overwhelmed.
  • You know that your life will be more peaceful and you will feel more confident of a great retirement if you can just get your arms around your money TODAY. You understand the pieces but you need help putting them together and you’re excited to see that the FAST Money Management Program will show you how to make it all happen.  You’re doubly excited by the private member Facebook group where you can talk to other people that are in your shoes working through the same issues.
  • You’re excited by my teaching method where you get to learn the concept, see how it applies to a real (fake) family, then apply it to your life. You’re excited that by this time tomorrow you can be working on the step-by-step, building block approach we use in the program.
  • You feel confident about getting started, especially knowing you have 30 days money back guarantee, so you can dive in and make sure this is the program for you.

If you said ‘yes’ to at least 5 of the above, I can’t wait to meet you inside the FAST Money Management Program!

Questions our tops students asked before enrolling in the FAST Money Management Program

1. Managing your money seems to be awfully complex with a lot of moving parts and I’m feeling like it will be overwhelming

Trying to figure it out on your own is scary and really hard. Trust me, it took me 20 years of learning and making mistakes and figuring things out before I got it.   But the idea of not managing your money is probably actually scarier.  Where will you end up?

I designed this class for people that know nothing about money.  It’s designed to make you successful and to make sure you CAN do it.  That’s one of the reasons I’ve included the private member group and why I do the weekly live Q&A sessions.  I want to make sure you have all the tools you need to be successful.

2.  I’m not good with numbers. How am I going to be able to do this?

There are 2 things you need to know.

First…managing your money does NOT include hard math.  Mostly it’s adding and subtracting, which you can do on the calculator on your phone.  There are also free apps I tell you about that will help.

Second, I designed the worksheets in the program to be for non number friendly students.  So I have you covered.

3. My partner or spouse isn’t going to participate.  Does it make sense for me to do this on my own?

The answer is yes, yes and YES!

Let me ask you.  Are you tired of worrying about money?  Does it ever wake you up in the middle of the night?

Then the answer is yes!  This is about helping YOU find peace with your money, and I promise it will have you making changes in the way you handle your money.  This may very well motivate your husband or spouse to join you.

The cool think about this class is that you can watch the videos WITH your spouse or partner when they are ready to be part of it.  That way you both can use the same steps and all the same tools.

And even if your spouse or partner decides not to be part of the process, did you know that 95% of women are going to have to manage their money on their own at some point in their life, most likely after they turn 65 because their spouse is going to get sick or die before them women, so you are going to need to know how to manage your money when that happens.  I much rather see you with a bunch of years of practice under your belt before you have to do it on your own.

4. What if I find out I’m not okay?

This is a common concern.  If you find you aren’t where you need to be, this program is going to show you what you need to change to be okay.  Let’s face it….the money in your life isn’t going to go away.  In fact, as you get older, like when you retire, you are going to have less options than you do today, so you really want to get started now.

5. This class seems to cover an awful lot of material.  Would I do better to take a class in budgeting or debt management then come back and do this later?

This is actually the place to start BEFORE you do some of the other classes that are out there.   You’re going to think of managing money in a WHOLE NEW way.

If you start with the other classes, you focus on only 1 of the 5 pieces and then you end up with 4 pieces that aren’t getting any attention.

If you do this course, and lay out your plan, you may find there are areas you want to dig deeper into after. THAT is the time to take the specialty courses; after you have your framework laid out and you know what you need that piece to do.

6. How long does it take to get through the class?

Once you sign up you will get access to the welcome module and the getting started module right away.  Each week another module will go live.  There are 7 modules that you will get over 8 weeks.  Week 4 won’t have any new content so you have a week to catch up (or take a spring break!).

Once a module is live, you have access to if for life so you can work on it totally at your own pace.

I recommend that you try and get through the program in 8 weeks.  To do that, you will need to carve out 1-3 hours a week (depending on the module).

7. What if I find the program is not for me?

I’m incredibly confident that this program works.  Ir’s worked for lot of others, but I get that sometimes it’s not a great fit, so I’m happy to offer a 30 day money back guarantee.

If for any reason you are not happy in the first 30 days, I’ll happily refund your money.

8. Can you remind me of what I’ll get if I sign up today?

Absolutely!

The course includes the full FAST Money Management Program including 7 modules, all the worksheets you’ll need and the Program Guide.  Each module is made up of a series of lessons that are live videos.

In each module you’ll go through the process of learning the concepts, seeing how it works with my favorite fake family, Joe and Amanda Banks, then you will apply it to your own life. This is a HANDS ON class!

You will also receive

Bonus #1  – For a limited time you will receive $100 off
